Our Mugs On Parade

We were happy to learn that Utah Valley BusinessQ magazine used our beautiful mugs to advertise their upcoming Creative Agency Profiles. But not to worry, we won’t let this flattering gesture go to our heads.

Thank you BusinessQ for the mad props.

Riser Media Wins Best of State!

On Saturday night, Riser Media received the Best of State 2009 Award for Graphic Design. According to the Best of State organization, the field of nominees was stronger than ever this year and the judges labored over their scores. The awards were based on outstanding achievements in the nominee’s respected fields and exemplary community involvement.

The 2009 Best of State Awards Gala was held in the Grand Ballroom of the Salt Palace. Michael Janda and Jeff Jolley got fancied up in their best James Bond gear and escorted their wives to the event to represent the Riser Media team. The Awards Gala included live entertainment, celebrity presenters and delicious food.

Riser Media Parties Recession Style

Riser Medians celebrated the achievement of some of our “Chewbacca” goals by throwing a recession style party complete with dollar store give-aways.

Jordan Has Career Options!

We always knew that Jordan, former Riser Media programmer, was bound for greatness but we were not sure in what way he would leave his mark. Well, after receiving a photo from this year’s World Beard and Moustache Competition, we finally realized that he was meant to stand in for Joaquin Phoenix on David Letterman!

Creative Juices Bottles v.2

Back by popular demand, Riser Media has re-created the infamous Creative Juices bottles. Our offer still stands, visit our offices and get a free bottle. BTW, the new bottles are eco-friendly… they are BPA free and bio-degrade in managed landfills (i.e., someone is watching the trash bio-degrade) within 1 to 5 years.

Some of the Riser Medians test the creativity of the newly received bottles.

Some Kudos For Host Riser!

Friends of ours sent us a link to Webdesigner Depot where they have listed Host Riser among some of the best designed corporate websites. We love the good words!

Washington D.C. Expedition

Riser Medians were recently spotted galavanting around our nation’s capitol. The trip included a two day conference with our web site hosting partner followed by visits to National Geographic where we provide high-end graphic design services for several departments. We also enjoyed catching up with some ex-AOL’ers while we were in town. (There certainly isn’t a shortage of ex-AOL’ers out there.)

The 23rd Fastest Growing Company is Riser Media

For the second year in a row, Riser Media was recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in Utah Valley. The UV50 issue of BusinessQ Magazine announced the winners. You can read the full article here and check out the other winners. There are 15,000+ companies in the area and although we were number 17 last year, we’ll gladly take 23rd as a reflection of sustainable growth. Michael Janda and Jeff Jolley attended the award gala (along with their infinitely superior spouses) at the McKay Events Center to accept the award on behalf of the Riser Media team.

Riser Media Unveiled at Trade Show

Riser Media recently peddled their wares at the Big Business and Technology Expo. The event was held at the McKay Events Center at Utah Valley University. Most of the prospective customers were interested in Riser Media’s latest product offering, Site Riser, an affordable custom website solution created for small and medium sized businesses. The event also served as a “coming out party” for the new branding and name change from Jandaco to Riser Media.
