ABC brought Riser Media on board to create a tool to collect photo submissions for Regis and Kelly’s “Beautiful Baby Search”. The Riser Media team was up to the task. Users can enter the sweepstakes and upload their photos. The programming tasks also included creation of an administrative tool for the ABC team to be able to review submissions and select the best of the best to put up for a viewer vote in the coming weeks.
After Regis’ big announcement this morning, the site was averaging about one submission every three seconds… not too shabby! Be sure to submit your beautiful baby here.

Our Will is growing up and heading off to Vegas this weekend to celebrate so we thought we would send him off in style with this killer cake! Congrats Will and here’s to a great year ahead!

Yep, some of us shed a tear earlier this year when In-N-Out announced they would be building a restaurant one block from the Riser Media offices. We’ve watched patiently as they constructed the building over the past few months until the long awaited day arrived. The American Fork, Utah In-N-Out Burger opened today. It was an unadvertised opening so the crowds weren’t bad at all. It was as yummy as always and we only expect it to get better as the tasty grease gets deeply embedded into the grill and fryer. We’ll be visiting as long as our hearts can continue to process the cholesterol. Long live In-N-Out Burger! Chocoholics unite! Today is the day we have looked forward to with much anticipation and glee; Chocolate Covered Anything Day. Not like we need a reason to celebrate, but today is a great day to consume to excess, your favorite food…chocolate. We believe the timing of this day, during the holiday season, couldn’t be better. The Riser Medians and their significant others gathered together at the Janda’s home for the annual Holiday-Sham-A-Lam. A pile of food… a gift exchange… some karaoke… some pool… a lot of jokes… a year in review slideshow… a non-boring speech by Mike… a new Employee of the Year (Will Robertson)… and a little foosball… all made for a fun evening together.

Jeff had the opportunity to attend the Verio PAC (Partner Advisory Council) in Denver this year from November 9th to the 11th. There were piles of snow left over from the “deluge” they received a couple of weeks earlier but the sun was shining! Riser Media has been partnered with Verio for 2 1/2 years and they are making great strides at continuing to improve their service and offerings. The PAC gives some of Verios top partners the opportunity to give feedback and be kept up to date on new programs.
